STUDY VISIT IN POLAND 12/6-17/06/2023
A study visit of Aurive Societa Cooperativa Sociale (Italy) in Olsztyn (Poland) took place (12 - 17 June 2023). Representatives of Inspire Consulting sp. z o.o. in Olsztyn and Aurive worked together during this time in their ERASMUS+ project "Facility Job – Methods and Practices Toward Post Diploma Work Placement of Disadvantaged Learners".
The "Facility Job" project is aimed at addressing the transnational issue of excluding people with disabilities from the job market. The meeting served as an exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices in preventing the marginalization of students and graduates from vocational schools in accessing internships and practical training, and consequently, the job market.
As part of the study visit, a meeting with psychologist Cezary Buszko took place. H presented solutions related to vocational activation of individuals with specific needs within the VET (Vocational Education and Training) system through supported employment model. Additionally, we visited the Municipal Employment Office in Olsztyn and the Training and Education Centre, as well as the OHP Training and Production Workshops in Pasłęk. During the meetings, VET models in Poland and Italy were discussed, along with the role of internships and practical training, with particular emphasis on vocational activation of individuals with specific needs.
